Another Great Weekend Spent Competing at the 2017 Georgia Truck Driving Championships

05.18.17

The Georgia Truck Driving Championships (TDC) bring together the best of the best from transportation companies operating in Georgia. Estenson Logistics was proud to have two of our very own competing this year, Richard V. and Damien Y. They were welcomed by the other competitors at this years event and a lot of the experienced TDC drivers knew they were rookies and helped them to better understand all aspects of the competition. This level of sportsmanship was greatly appreciated and now our drivers feel a part of the TDC brotherhood.

Our company has committed to these drivers to supporting them in these competitions. Damien and Richard couldn’t thank us enough for allowing them to be involved and compete. They did an outstanding job representing Estenson Logistics. The competition this year was fierce but being first time competitors did not sway our drivers' morale. Richard finished 21st in the 5-axle class competition and Damien finished 18th in the 4-axle class.

Though they may not have placed high enough to continue to the National Championship, Damien and Richard were very pumped and excited to compete. They are already gearing up for next year's competition and we're ready to support them every mile of the way.
